Roberto Brasil

Roberto Brasil is a 27 years old rider from Portugal; he started riding wen
he was 12. By the time he was 14 he did his 1st show and has not stopped
showing ever since. He has been 11 times Azores Dressage Champion from 1st
level to Intermediate 1 as well as Silver and Bronze medal on the Portuguese
Cup. When he was 19 he graduated from his first level trainers test with a 9
score (Scale of 0 to 10). Immediately after he did the second level trainers
test that he again finished with 9 at the age of 21. He was invited by the
National School of Equitation to do the 3 level trainers (maximum level in
Portugal), ordinarily a level that he could only apply for at the age of 25.
After graduating from the level 3 trainers test at the age of 23, he became
the youngest instructor in Portugal. He did a 2 months specialty in equine
therapy in the number one center of equine therapy in Portugal. In 2014 he
graduated from the Azores University with a degree in International
Politics. He came to the USA searching for an opportunity to ride with an
Olympic rider, to learn the high standards of dressage, and so he joined the
team in September of 2014. He has been successfully showing Performance
Farm horses from first level to Prix St. George.
